Heidi's Bridal Shower...

The big day is getting closer - and Heid's bridal shower was just one step closer to the reality of it all. We had a great time - and it was so fun to meet so many members of Heidi's side of the family. The shower was at Heidi's friend, Teresa's house and I was asked to be in charge of the games.... here are a few pics.
This is Shaylene (Mignon's daughter) being the model for a tolite paper wedding dress. The lady in the red shirt is Heid's mom.

Hair Growth

Those Mitchells are so darn cute. They've done a terrific job making many short movies - and they've even motivated my own kids to make some of their own, but this particular one really makes Aunt Teresa smile.

Ok so we all enjoy a little mud once in a while but these guys take it to a whole new level…Samuel and Ammon started with just a toe then a foot, before long well just look what happened…

Then bigger kids got in…

But nobody beat Caleb, that’s one muddy boy!!!

Then the boys got this great idea, they would try to hug the girls! Yuck!

But these are smart girls, they just went deeper into the water and when the boys swam toward them the mud all washed away. Yea girls!

My zoom isn’t huge on this little camera but if you squint you can see Ivan driving and Caleb in the front, not sure who they are towing since I cut then accidentally cut them out of the frame.

Stacey was the first tuber but she didn’t like it too much, Paul and LaShaun seemed to enjoy it more.

Then the kids went out, this is Crista.

All the kids seemed to enjoy it.
The top was up on the boat because we had a little rain but nobody seemed to mind.

Serena knows how to enjoy the lake.

This is a shot of Caleb standing on a picnic table that is probably three feet under water. A lot of the picnic areas are still flooded. But these kids don’t care…

Jake even tried to climb a tree while the girls sat at the table.
